Broccoli with bean mash
Ingredients:
- 40g olive oil
 - 1 teaspoon of chilli (chipotle chilli powder, chilli flakes, etc.)
 - 30g garlic (about 6 cloves)
 
- 400g broccoli (tenderstem are best, especially purple ones)
 - 700g pre-cooked white beans (white kidney beans, butter beans, etc.)
 - 0.25 teaspoon salt
 - 40g lemon juice
 
Methods:
- Peel the garlic.
 - In a small pan heat the olive oil until hot but not yet smoking.
 - Meanwhile, place chilli flakes and chilli powder into a small glass jar. Pour the hot oil into the jar, the chilli flakes will sizzle.
 - Use a garlic press to add garlic cloves into the jar of still hot oil.
 - Steam the broccoli (if not tenderstem, chopped into florets and stem slices).
 - Meanwhile, warm up the beans in the microwave. Add salt and lemon juice. Handblender into a mash. Taste and adjust salt and acidity (lemon juice).
 - Serve bean mash topped with steamed broccoli and drizzled with chilli oil from the jar.
