Corn on the cob

Ingredients:

  • corn on the cob
  • salt
  • Kashmiri chilli powder
  • Lime powder (or mango powder or citric acid powder)
  • butter

Methods:

  • Undress the corn cobs.
  • Fill a heavy bottom pot with boiling water, place it over high heat and wait for the water to come to rolling boil. Submerge the corns, cover with the lid and immediately remove from heat. They’ll be ready to eat in about 15min, but can linger in warm water for longer.
  • To make home-made Tajin spice mix, commbine salt, chilli powder and lime powder. Sweetness will come from corn.
  • Serve corn cobs covered in butter and spice mix.
