Runner beans with hazelnuts

Ingredients:

  • olive oil
  • 1 small red onion
  • 200g runner beans
  • 50g hazelnuts
  • 50g cheddar cheese
  • salt
  • 10 twists of black pepper

Methods:

  • Toast the hazelnuts in 200C oven.
  • Finely slice red onion and runner beans.
  • Pre-heat the pan with some olive oil until very hot. Fry onions and runner beans, stirring frequently, until tender, for about 4 minutes.
  • Toss with toasted hazelnuts, crumbled cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper and more olive oil if needed.
