Random street art

What I like most about street art:

  • It reflects the current situation and tells me what’s on people’s minds. The art is alive and relevant, and the artist is probably still alive too.
  • Street art is very fragile. It is so naked and easy to destroy, that its mere existence is a proof of respect for the artist and/or this particular work. Money cannot buy this respect.
  • Street art is for everyone. There is no charge to see it. It brightens up neighbourhoods and people’s commutes.

My favourite destinations for street art are Australia (Sydney), Bulgaria (Sofia), Colombia, Germany (Berlin), Greece (Athens), Mexico, Turkey (Istanbul), UK (Birmingham, Bristol, London) and USA (Miami). If you know what my next destination should be, please let me know.
